Abstract
The basic concept of tolerant join operation in are lational database is reported. Algorithms used to resolve whole class of tasks of potential conflict situation avoidance during preliminary flight planning process on standard flight routes which are overlapping with prohibited areas of different dedication are described. A function model of standard flight routes planning process is presented. An example of database tables filling and solution of the tasks of detection and prevention of potential conflict situations by means of database processing are presented. Authors use algebraic formulas based on relational algebra and names of tables and attributes for description of examined databases processing algorithms. Capabilities of databases systems technology to detect and prevent a potential conflict situation are shown.
